WHAT IS FREEMASONRY?
With this question we could be here for a lifetime. Because that is about how long it takes to figure it out. Just kidding, not really, but here is the short answer. A fraternity of men decicated to building moral character of its members and the preservation of personal freedom. The truth is Freemasonry takes on different meanings for each man. For some its spiritual, for others it's the camaraderie, while for others it's a little normalcy in an otherwise chaotic world. Whatever you are searching for you will find it as a Mason, if you so chose. That is why the defination has no right or wrong answer among the Brethren, it is different for us all.

IS FREEMASONRY A RELIGION?
No. Every applicant must express a belief in a Supreme Being to whom all men are accountable but no particular religious affiliation is required.
WHO FORMED THE FREEMASONS?

One theory is that the organization was developed by the ancient stone masons. Another is that it originated with the Knights Templar. We my never know the true origins, but we are glad it was founded.
